You must take out travel insurance for all travel arrangements.

Creative Living Retreats aims to be as flexible and generous as possible in the event of your cancellation but it is your responsibility to take out travel insurance at the time of booking your retreat or, once insurance is possible, at the time of booking your retreat.

If we are forced to cancel your retreat due to COVID pandemic, you will be offered :

  • the possibility to join another retreat

  • or to join the same retreat at a later date

  • or to transfer your booking to another person

 

Please check with your travel insurer when you take your travel insurance+cancellation insurance what possibilities exist for recuperating your costs in the case of necessity.  

 

Your booking with Anna Kwiecinska is subject to the following Terms and Conditions and when you book it is assumed that you are familiar with them and the descriptions of the retreats. 

   

Step 1 Make Your Booking

Your booking is accepted from the date when you are sent (by email) a booking confirmation and invoice from Anna.

Step 2: Paying  your deposit

Until the deposit is received your place is not confirmed.

Your place is confirmed on your chosen retreat by payment of the required deposit.

Step 3: Paying  your balance

Payment of the balance of the retreat cost is due not less than days 90 days before the start dates:

If the deposit or the balance of the tour price is not paid, as specified, we reserve the right to cancel your booking.

If You Cancel 

If you cancel your booking, cancellation fees will apply.

If you cancel a retreat:

  • More than 90 days prior to the start date, your full deposit less an administration cost of $/euro 100 will be refunded

  • Cancellations between 90 and 60 days prior to the start date of your we will retain the full deposit and any retreat balance will be returned

  • Cancellations between 59 and 30 days prior to the start date of your we will retain the full deposit, plus 25% of the balance, fee and the remainder will be returned

  • Cancellations less than 30 days prior to the retreats, no refund will be made

Note: a written confirmation of the cancellation from you is required to effect the cancellation. The electronic date of receipt by email will be the date from which the cancellation is calculated.

You are strongly advised to take out cancellation insurance when you book

We are not liable for refunds for unused services if you leave a retreat for any reason after it has commenced

or you do not join the retreat.

 

Circumstances when we may cancel a retreat

 

We reserve the right to cancel a retreat at any time prior to departure if:

  • External events of force majeure, terrorism, natural disaster, political instability or other events are deemed to make it not viable to operate the planned retreat.

  • There are insufficient bookings (which is less than 8 participants) (his has never happened in 13 years of retreats, and in reality we  will make a retreat happen with less participants if we possibly can)

  • Due to unforeseen circumstances which prevent Anna Kwiecinska or the teachers involved from conducting the retreat.

  • And we reserve the right to find a replacement yoga teacher in the event that Eva is unable to participate as planned.

 

What happens if we cancel your retreat?

If we cancel a retreat your full payment is refundable

 

Changing your booking

You cannot transfer your deposit to another retreat unless you are offered an alternative due to COVID-related cancellations by us.

If you wish to transfer your booking to a third party you must notify us in writing two weeks before the start date.

Your retreat includes all accommodation, transport from the airport, tours on the retreat, entrances, meals as defined in the description, tuition and materials as listed on the itinerary webpage

Your retreat does not include: International or internal flight, visa and passport fees, travel insurance, personal expenses

 

Travel Insurance

Travel insurance is mandatory. Please take it out at the time of booking or as soon as possible thereafter in this period when many insurers are not issuing new policies.

It must provide cover against: personal accident, death, medical expenses and emergency repatriation with a recommended minimum coverage of US$200,000 for each of the categories of cover.

You are strongly advised to take out cover for cancellation for unforeseen circumstances prior and during the retreat, curtailment, personal liability and loss of luggage and personal effects.

It is a condition of joining the retreat that you provide a copy of the certificate of currency, or your travel insurance policy number and the insurance company’s 24 hour emergency contact number on or before joining the retreat.

If you have travel insurance connected to your credit card or bank account please ensure you have details of the participating insurer, the insurance policy number and emergency contact number with you in case of emergency.

Covid-19 Vaccination

A minimum double vaccination is mandatory to ensure the well-being of the group.

Acceptance of Risk

In joining this retreat, you acknowledge that your decision to travel is made in light of consideration of all information available at the time of booking by checking the Australian Government’s DFAT Smart Traveller site, or that of your own government, and you accept that you are aware of the personal risks attendant upon such travel.
